Spring is in the air and I definitely have spring fever! As spring slowly approaches and the weather ever so gradually gets warmer, I like to add practical pieces to my wardrobe.
Spring in Canada can definitely be on the cooler side, but I never let that stop me from finding cute pieces to start wearing now. I am all about snagging good pieces that transition well from winter to spring. So here are the spring pieces I’m currently wearing (even if it's still on the chillier side).
Here are 3 pieces to take your wardrobe into spring!
1. The classic moto jacket
The timeless and versatile moto jacket is one of my favourite pieces to snag for spring. Not only is it effortlessly chic, the moto jacket is crazy versatile. You can throw it over a knit and a pair of jeans or wear it into the summer over a flowy dress on a breezy evening. Plus, the moto jacket doesn't have to be a huge investment anymore. You can snag a vegan leather moto jacket for half the price of the real thing. If you're not a fan of classic black, try brown suede or a white moto for a more fashion forward look!
2. Floral Tights
Spring is definitely not the same without some floral prints. If the beginning of spring feels too early to whip out your floral dresses, try a pair of Rachel's sheer floral polka dot tights instead. These sheer floral polka dot tights can take a winter-esque look and add a dose of spring in no time. Plus, they are classy enough to dress up for date night with a classic LBD or dress down with a denim skirt and pullover. Either way, these tights are on my must-have list for spring!
3.The knit midi
Don't put away all your knits just yet! I love adding a lightweight knit item to my spring wardrobe. This year, I decided to opt for a champagne colour knit midi. Not only does a lightweight knit skirt make an amazing transitional piece from the end of winter to spring, but the styling options are truly endless. Style the knit midi with a rolled up tee, white kicks and a moto jacket for a casual look, or a crop top and heels for date night when summer rolls around!
