With the Holidays right around the corner, it’s time to start outfit planning for all those parties that are sure to take up most of December.
It can be overwhelming to get ready for the Holidays and no one wants to buy a whole new wardrobe to only be worn the month of December.
Fortunately, I have some style tips to make an outfit festive without necessarily breaking the bank.
Here are 5 easy Holiday styling tips to try!
Embrace lace
Almost everyone has a touch of lace somewhere in their closet. Grab your lace piece and make it the focal point of your Holiday look by building the rest of your outfit around it. I styled a long sleeve lace shirt under a simple black romper and added a touch of glitter with my tights to create a Holiday-ready look. If you don't have a full lace shirt, don't fret, as long as you have a little lace in your outfit you'll be looking seriously festive in no time.

Shop for velvet
Velvet may be a little tougher to come by, but places like Old Navy are usually swimming in this material this time of year, and have velvet pieces for next to nothing. Velvet is a luxe, but simple way to say the Holidays are here and you're welcoming them with open arms. Opt for a velvet skirt to combine with glitter tights and add festive colours for a complete look.

Top it with a chic coat
Considering it’s usually frightfully cold in November/December and our Holiday looks don’t come with parkas, it’s best to have a chic coat at your disposal to throw over your cute, but let’s face it, usually a tad skimpy for Winter outfit. On a budget? Check those sales because you can usually get a cute dress coat for fairly cheap. Hello Christmas sales, I’m looking for a coat!

Statement necklace
Even if your entire look is black and you’ve worn that skirt a hundred times, it doesn’t matter if you top it all off with a statement necklace that sparkles and shimmers. A statement necklace just like other accessories, can take your look from bland to grand in no time.
