3 Ways to Style your Jean Shorts with Tights

We often think that denim shorts are just made for summer, but they also make a great spring look when combined with tights. Shorts are way more practical than you may think and are a great item (that you probably already own) to create different looks with.

To give this style a try, start by grabbing your favourite pair of tights and I’m convinced you’ll become obsessed with this outfit combo.

Here are 3 outfit ideas to rock tights and jean shorts this spring!

The casual look

For a weekend outfit, this look is the perfect option. It’s comfortable and original thanks to the ultimate casual piece and closet must-have: The logo shirt. Add it to your wardrobe to create casual and stylish looks and don’t doubt wearing it with shorts and tights. I opted for Rachel’s Grey Pink Polka Dot Tights to finish my outfit.

The chic look

Denim shorts are ideal for a casual look, but they can also be styled for dressier occasions. For this outfit, I opted for a tweed jacket to add a touch of chic to my look (the Chanel way). A fitted jacket or blazer is just what you need to dress up your denim jeans, while Grey Pink Polka Dot Tights will add a feminine finish.

The smart look

A crisp white shirt combined with your shorts and tights will give you a smart look that’s perfect for a family activity or for brunch with the girls. I added a turtleneck under my shirt to give it a totally different look and finished my outfit with Rachel’s 5-Dot Tights. After all, polka dots are always in style!

What look will you recreate with your denim shorts this season?

Xo,

Justine
